insurance protection
First and foremost, make sure that you’re dealing with a qualified, certified professional in the field (subject to certification, prior authorization and requiring specific insurance coverage).
A certified professional must be able to present on request:
- His certificate of VTC (“Voitures de Tourisme avec Chauffeur”) operator registration under the Ministère de la Transition Écologique et Solidaire (Ministry of Environmentally-Friendly and Sustainable Transition)
- An insurance certificate for “transport de personnes à titre onéreux” (transport of persons for remuneration).

Laisser Passer has taken out special insurance for the transportation of passengers for remuneration with the company SMACL, 3110680161 fleet insurance policy number. This insurance policy covers passengers for any physical injury. From Laisser Passer’s creation in 1993 up to now, we have never had to use it.
