Our advice

Choosing the right
service provider

How to assess the level of a service provider?

First and foremost, make sure that you’re dealing with a qualified, certified professional in the field (subject to certification, prior authorization and requiring specific insurance coverage).

A certified professional must be able to present on request:

  • His certificate of VTC operator (“Voitures de Tourisme avec Chauffeur”) registration, under the “Ministère de la Transition Écologique et Solidaire” (Ministry of Environmentally Friendly and Sustainable Transition)
  • An insurance certificate for transport of persons for remuneration.

Laisser Passer is registered as an “Exploitants de Voitures de Tourisme avec Chauffeur” (Operators of Passenger Cars with Chauffeur), as No. EVTC075100124.

Laisser Passer has taken out special insurance for the transportation of passengers for remuneration with the company SMACL, 3110680161 fleet insurance policy number.

Furthermore, a company’s many years of experience, the quality and reliability of its performance should be closely assessed.

Laisser Passer was created in 1993 and has been meeting and exceeding the high standards of its clientele for many decades.

Finally, beware of low prices: while a high price certainly does not guarantee the best performance, low prices mean cutting expenses to a minimum by compromising on vehicle safety, chauffeur’s level of experience, and service performance reliability.

How to determine the quality of service?
Here are four key factors:

TRAVEL PREPARATION

SAFETY MARGIN BETWEEN EACH TRAVEL ORDER

DRIVERS’ EXPERIENCE AND ENGAGEMENT

VEHICLE QUALITY (COMFORT, CONDITION, ETC.)

How to compare prices and services?
Study what is included in the price: model and year of the car, driver‘s level of experience, time and mileage included, any potential overruns, additional costs (tolls, parking, driver’s meals, night on the road), complimentary items (dry cleaning services, water, etc.).
